JON M. SCHORR is as board member of Global Research and Rescue, grr, and is a principal in the law offices of Carney, Badley, and Spellman. Mr. Schorr is a CPA and practiced with the tax department of Arthur Andersen & Co. for seven years prior to entering the practice of law. Mr. Schorr has a very strong interest in the environment. He has supported the reintroduction of the killer whale Keiko and assisted in the successful reintroduction of the killer whale Springer to her home pod in British Columbia.

Mr. Schorr concentrates his practice primarily in the area of mergers, acquisitions and related business transactions, with a strong emphasis on the tax issues inherent in any business structuring. He regularly consults with clients concerning the structuring of business acquisitions and in the restructuring of businesses organizations through mergers, reorganizations, divestitures and liquidations. In addition, Mr. Schorr has handled numerous matters before the Internal Revenue Service, the Washington Department of Revenue and the Washington Board of Tax Appeals.
